Working as a member of the clients Development Team(s) helping to validate the overall software architecture and approach, the contractor will deliver a written evaluation covering the integrity of the architecture, as well as any risks and their associated mitigation strategies. The contractors role is to evaluate the architecture and approach but NOT to redesign it. The contractor is expected to fully participate in and encourage the best practices of clients Scrums, Sprints, and other elements of Agile methodology. The contractor is also expected to be available to assist our partner states Development Team. Required Skills: The contractor must be proficient with our development tools: * Language: Java 6.38 or above * Development environment: MyEclipse Java using Ajax for UI communication * Database mapping: Hibernate * Database: legacy application uses Informix via Server Studio * Database: future application will use Microsoft SQL 2012 * Code Management: Subversion * Testing Software: HP Quality Center and Quick Test Professional * Documentation: Visual Paradigm The contractor must also be an experienced proponent of Agile development methodologies and will participate fully as a member of our Development Team using that framework.
