Client is also interested in understanding available services for Unisys COBOL maintenance and operations database support for SSPS and additional systems. Technical expertise required: The vendor must be experienced in Unisys COBOL, 2200 Executive Control Language (ECL), DMS 2200 database software, SSG, and supporting tools. Services Requested: Client needs expert level assistance in monitoring SSPS, correcting problems, and responding to new requests. SSPS support duties include but are not be limited to: • Support, create, and maintain mission-critical application programs that include the Unisys COBOL applications that make up the SSPS System. • Perform detailed data analysis to develop technical proposals to be submitted to management. This analysis includes, Run-streams, COBOL, and other processes within this system, and can include Server applications. • Design complex test procedures for critical system applications and processes. Modify, prepare, and implement load procedures for critical SSPS computer code. • Consult with peer SSPS technical staff members and the Applications Manager, to resolve customer and system requirements, technical problems, possible solutions and other related issues. • Review and communicate test results with SSPS program managers, applications management, technical staff members and customers. • Ensure SSPS quality standards are met as part of analysis, systems enhancement, implementation and maintenance tasks. • Monitor application performance and document performance problems as needed. • Maintain and enhance system documentation according to specific ISSD, Consolidated Technology Services Department and SSPS standards. • Solve difficult problems involving complex issues related to specific system, technical, customer and agency requirements (i.e., authorization and invoicing technical questions and problems resolution). • Actively manage issue, risk and change management processes. Provide leadership in the identification, documentation and resolution of issues, risks and change requests using defined processes. Escalates items in a timely fashion and with sufficient information for timely decision making. • Develop specifications, coding and documentation for all SSPS Unisys functions, technologies and modifications utilizing DSHS ISSD or other standard best practice processes, tools and templates. Work closely with SSPS program managers, ISSD information technical managers, division, state and federal agencies, fellow lead workers, CMS and DSHS Mailroom staff, key stakeholders and Production Control staff for production implementation and job scheduling; and other ISSD staff to develop and gain acceptance of these specification, coding and documentation changes.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
