There is potential for the contract to be extended. Description: The Colorado Department of Revenue is seeking process architects to support several divisions within the Department. These are short-term positions to quickly and effectively document current-state processes for major business unit functions. The process mapping outputs will serve as a baseline for the Departments process architecture and will be used for further process analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Primary Responsibilities: Meet with division stakeholders to confirm in-scope business unit functions, process mapping approach and output expectations. Create process maps, both high level and more detailed, for each in-scope business unit function. Gather pain points and identify process waste areas pertaining to each process map. Secondary Responsibilities (depending on available time): Prioritize the pain points and conduct root cause analysis on most important items. Collaborate with the stakeholders to identify potential process and / or technology solutions and improvement ideas. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree preferred but not required. LEAN/Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certified or 5 years demonstrated equivalent work experience is preferred. Skills / Knowledge: Practical experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies Collaboration and facilitation skills to drive engagement required Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong customer focus and relationship skills Ability to work with all levels of employees Organization and prioritization skills Ability to work alone or with little supervision Competent in MS Visio Competent in Google Suites (sheets, docs, slides, calendar, email) Equipment / Software Needed: Candidates must provide their own computer equipment and have MS Visio installed   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
