This EDR platform will provide next generation protection for managed endpoints including PCs, servers and other devices. The EDR platform is designed to prevent a wide range of known and unknown malware and threats and to provide protection from such threats; in addition, they provide the ability to investigate and remediate incidents that evade protection controls. Unsupported Operating System and Software Replacement: This work effort is focused on replacement of end of life (unsupported) endpoints and software in use across the State network. Security patches are no longer being provided by vendors, these endpoints and software packages pose a cybersecurity risk to the State of Iowa. 24/7/365 SOC: This work effort is focused on expanding OCIO security operations to be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The primary objective of the expansion of this service is to ensure around the clock security incident response to appropriately respond to cybersecurity threats against the State of Iowa Unsupported Operating System and Software Replacement: This work effort is focused on replacement of end of life (unsupported) endpoints and software in use across the State network.
