Description:
NC A & T State University is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 4 month) contractor assignment to provide IT Support in Systems and Operations in the department of the Division of Information Technology. The selected candidate will manage and support the SAN environments and will be responsible for maintenance and configuration of both a production and disaster recovery environment.

Education:
Minimum 2-year technical degree and at least 4 years experience or a 4-year Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years experience in the field of information technology and/or computer science

Knowledge, Experience:
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Clariion CX3 hardware
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of disk drives into the Clariion architecture
Support, installation, and daily maintenance of the EMC SAN configuration software.
Knowledge in configuration and administration Fiber Channel, and iSCSI connections.
Comprehension of and experience in setting up and maintaining a disaster recovery SAN environment.

Ability To:
Setup synchronize/a-synchronize cloning across SANs
Setup snapshotting across SANs
Work independently as well as in a team environment.
Document work and processes
Research problems and present solutions

EMC Certifications
