TDH was recently awarded funding through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to establish a Pediatric Mental Health Care Access program. The main goals of the program are to 1) provide training for pediatric primary care providers on screening and management of behavioral health conditions; 2) establish a pediatric mental health team who will assist with the management of pediatric patients with behavioral health conditions via tele-consultation; and 3) assure equal access and utilization of services for children across all demographics and factors that affect social vulnerability. The Epidemiologist 1 will be responsible for completing data-related grant deliverables, including managing the REDCap database; collecting evaluation data and completing an evaluation report; disseminating data and evaluation findings; and providing recommendations on how to utilize evaluation findings to improve the project.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
