Monitor, verify and process non-medications orders. Medication orders are verified/acknowledged inside the E-mar to ensure the nurse administering the medications is aware of new orders as they come in. 2. Assist with Admissions: Assist with the processing the orders for newly admitted patients, prepare the chart, assist with contraband search and lice check, obtain vitals, and collect UHCG. Once UHCG and vital signs collected enter in Avatar. 3. Assist discharges: review the Client Caregiver Education form with the patient, and obtain the patients signature, and review other paperwork in preparation for discharges. 4. Administer medications: Prepare medications for daily medication administration and during emergent situations. May need to assist on-coming shift with med pass. 5. Facilitate Therapeutic Activity by doing groups and activities with the patients. 6. Conduct safety rounds by doing irregular 15-minute checks of the unit. 7. Provide coverage for staff breaks. (Nursed and Techs) 8. Other duties as assigned MTMHI SCHEDULES Nurses and Techs 1. We do a 3-4 rotation which consists of *Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday *Week 2 - Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday Note: Our week starts Sunday through Saturday 2. Special schedules: We do not do special schedules or work 3 on, 3 off... 3. PRN Status: *Open shifts will be provided to agency. *They MUST work 4 shifts a month, including one weekend shift * Provide availability for the following month by the 10th. * Must adhere to Time and Attendance policy *May be called outside of their provided availability, should the need arise.
