These services are for supplemental database administration support for EWUs primary Oracle DBA including administration and management of EWUs enterprise wide administrative database management system (DBMS). Responsibilities : Database Administration : * Support for mission-critical database instances in coordination with EWUs primary Oracle DBA. * Configuration, troubleshooting, support and maintenance of all database systems including production, pre-production, development environments and UC4 (AppWorx) job scheduling and Evisons Form Fusion and Intellecheck products. * Monitoring and optimization of database performance, security, resource utilization, memory configuration, sessions, archive logs, and disk space usage. * Provide user management including enrolling users and maintaining system security. * Provide storage management including allocation of system storage. * Provide disaster recovery including backup and restore in coordination with EWU systems administration team. * Perform installation and updates to products and tools, as well as systems and applications utilizing the technology stack such as the SunGard Banner suite. * Proficient with SQL/Transact SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux shell scripting, Oracle Grid Control, Oracle Data Guard.
