The major responsibilities include defining patterns for discovering software (both third party and in-house written applications), creating templates within ADDM to automate the discovery and synchronize ADDM with Remedy CMDB. Other responsibilities includes: Specific duties include: Provide support for internal customers. Develop and maintain the signature packages for custom and commercial software packages. TPL (Topology Pattern Language) programming. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for ADDM. Perform development of proprietary packages and scripts. Work closely with Windows and Unix system administrators for routine operations such as performance tuning, upgrades and backup. Manage vendor relationships with BMC (acquiring new patches, upgrades and promotes industry best practices) Maintain Service level agreements with both customer and support organizations. Maintain Data Profiles/ Engineering and architecture documents. Coordinate the Prod/Non-Prod infrastructure deployments. Successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: 3+ years with Unix shell and perl scripting. 2+ years of ADDM TPL programming. 3+ years working in with Unix and Windows servers in a large datacenter. 3+ years with Unix administration. 6+ years of progressive IT experience. Experience with Windows batch scripts preferred. Experience with ADDM or any other discovery tool such as NNM, Spectrum would be preferred. Experience with Remedy CMDB preferred.
