The work performed includes both in house application development and software as a service. ESD has a short term need for support staff to assist in this effort. ESD is seeking two (2) Testers. Location All work under a contract resulting from this solicitation will be performed at an ESD headquarters location in Lacey, WA. No remote work will be allowed. No reimbursement or pay for travel to or from the location will be included in any contract resulting from this solicitation. Scope of Work Bidder must be capable of supplying resource(s) dedicated full time to ESD, who are capable of providing services described in the Required Qualifications listed below. At the time of Contract award and thereafter, the specifically named individual(s) identified in the Response must be dedicated to this Project, until Project completion. If for some unforeseen event the proposed resource becomes unavailable, replacement personnel may be proposed. Replacement personnel must have substantially similar qualifications as those identified in this RFQQ and ESD must agree to such replacement. Period of Performance Date of Contract execution through 12/28/2017. Required Qualifications and Description of Services In addition to the qualifications contained in the master contract, ESD seeks bidders who can provide resources who meet the following qualifications as defined in each requested ITPS Category below. Two (2) Testers (Software Design Engineer Testing) with 5 or more years of experience Creates, updates or maintains test cases (automated/scripted and/or manual). Goal is to create automated tests, execute test cases (automated and manual), and work within the development process. Follows standards, patterns and practices. Architecting test strategies for ASP.NET and C# .NET applications. Participate in Test Automation tool design and development. Strong analytical and observational skills. Ability to design automated tests based on project plans and product functionality. Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with complex applications. Ability to write command line tools, scripts, or batch files to automate processes. Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control and defect management Qualifications • Demonstrated skills in object oriented design and development using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, and T-SQL. • Demonstrated testing skills – unit testing, requirements testing, user testing, load testing, functional, and regression testing. • Excellent reading comprehension and both written and oral communication skills. • Understanding of systems security issues; • Demonstrated skills in Entity Framework, HTML5, SSIS, SSRS, Linq, and Angular. • Demonstrated skills in Selenium, Selenium IDE, Atata, NUnit, • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft TFS, VSTS, Visual Studio, MTM Desired Additional Qualifications • Education, or Certifications relevant to the qualifications and description of services. • Experience above the required five (5) years.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
