Administration Consultant (Jobs in Nashville, TN)   Requirement id 135673 Job title Consultant Job location in Nashville, TN Skills required Finance Systems, Administration, Windows 2019 Servers, Open Date 10-Aug-2022 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Consultant: Finance Systems, Administration, Windows 2019 Servers, start date:9/5/2022 submission deadline: 8/22/2022 2:00:00 PM client info : Finance & Admin Description: Work an average of 10 hours per week • Overview steps to take a new sub-system resource from inception to report • Knowledge transfer • Set up host collections with physical servers to gather storage metrics • Develop customized reports for State management and internal customers o Code, validate and deliver reports when appropriate • Setup and configure performance metrics/tuning • License maintenance • Collection ongoing: check and advanced troubleshooting • Administering logs, sizing, rotation settings, removals • Portal console: portal logs, SCON logs, data receiver logs • Ownership of all application and security patching for Aptare portal console in accordance with the States Enterprise Information Security Policies (EISP) and subject to product vendor availability of patches • Twice yearly health checks of the portal and collector servers • Advanced tuning and database maintenance • Upgrade collections to the Windows 2019 server • Work with Veritas to handle security vulnerabilities • Provide internal support to management for: o Informational presentations on all Aptare-related topics o Liaison between the State and product vendor for questions, requests, product issues • Any known non-standard work schedule tasks o None • Location(s) where project work is required to be performed or may be performed, including the use of onsite, offsite, and offshore resources at the procuring State agencys discretion. o This role will be 100-percent remote work with no requirements to come on-site. • Contractor shall provide their own hardware (laptops, computers, etc.) and internet connectivity to complete this SOW. • The Contractor shall allow the State to remote into their hardware to perform a security scan. This must occur prior to the Contractor accessing the States network.
