Description:
This position is responsible for the installation, setup, technical operation and administration of enterprise storage systems throughout our clients storage environment. The position involves managing a variety of storage related tasks, assigned individually or as part of a team, efficiently with a minimum of supervision. A team member in this position will ensure that support expectations are maintained or exceeded to accommodate company business requirements.

Duties include:
**Working with various teams within enterprise operations division to support the ongoing services, capacity planning, and performance management responsibilities of the Storage Team.
**Storage Area Network (SAN) administration and support including storage utilization/capacity planning.
**Performance of daily SAN activity monitoring and troubleshooting.
**Assisting in the implementation and documentation of all configuration changes and change requests.
**Assistance with the planning, implementation, and operation of advanced storage systems and technologies as they apply to SAN, NAS, and data protection environments.
**Ensuring the performance of all services provided by the Storage Team meet or exceed defined service levels.
**Participation in root-cause analysis of significant problems when necessary.
**Adherence to company storage strategy as it relates to designing, building, and delivering SAN, NAS, and data protection solutions.

Experience
-Minimum 5 years IT experience including 3 or more years experience with SAN/NAS technology.
-Experience with NetApp FAS series filers, 7-Mode and C-DOT
-Experience with NetApp CIFS and NFS protocols
-Experience managing NetApp backups using snapshot and snapmirror
-Experience with Brocade and Cisco SAN switch configuration and administration

Skills
-Solid understanding of Operating System principles, and proven track record configuring and troubleshooting Unix, Linux, and Windows Server environments.
-Comprehensive knowledge of storage networks, storage devices, storage resource management, and data management concepts, technologies, and practices.
-Ability to work with and coordinate multiple technical resources.
-Exemplary problem analysis and resolution.
-Excellent written and verbal skills.
-Desire to learn, take the initiative, and assume responsibility.
-Ability to follow documented practices and procedures.
-Ability to follow direction with a minimum of supervision.
-Ability to produce clear comprehensive documentation.
