Replace 300 total desktops and laptops at various IDOC locations. Install basic software such as MS Office and other IDOC standard software. Communicate with end users on files and applications that need to be transferred from the old systems to the new. Confirm with end users that systems are working. Enter asset tags and details into an inventory system. Be able to travel onsite to office buildings and prison facilities throughout the state. Contractor will replace desktop and laptop hardware with Windows 7 Operating System on approximately 300 desktops or laptops total. 2. Contractor will perform all set-up for end users. 3. Contractor will install basic software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office and standard IDOC software and communicate with end users on files and applications that need to be transferred from the old systems to the new systems. 4. Contractor will confirm with end users that systems are working and perform work on help desk tickets related to the computer imaging completed. 5. Contractor will place asset tags on equipment and enter asset tag numbers and equipment detail into the IT asset database. 6. Contractor must be able to travel to on-site IDOC locations statewide. IDOC anticipates travel to remote sites, including prison facilities, as needed and total travel will comprise approximately 50% of the allotted time. 7. Travel reimbursement shall be pre-approved by IT manager and reimbursement will be made to contracting company. 8. Contractor is required to have an IDOC background check approved. Contractor is required to be finger printed. 9. Contractor must follow the IT timesheet requirements outlined in the attached process document. Required Skills: Experience with installing and troubleshooting of: HP Personal computer hardware, Windows 7, MS Office 2010, Reflections, Adobe and typical desktop applications. Ability tor travel onsite and experience working in a state correctional environment. Ability to lift monitors, PCs and laptops.
