Function at the highest skill level in project management - planning, scheduling, and controlling of project activities to meet project objectives (i.e., performance, cost, and time goals while controlling or maintaining the project scope). Candidate will also develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources. Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Coordinates recruitment of project personnel and assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel. Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget. Other duties include process improvement, workflow optimization, and other tasks related to the stability and quality of the software being developed for AA.com. Candidate must demonstrate a good understanding of the benefits of Test Driven Development (TDD) and be able to teach and develop these skills in both greenfield and legacy code environments. Skills: • Good communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience working with offshore resources • Thorough understanding of software development life cycles including Rational Unified Processing and Agile methodologies • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, communicate requirements and status effectively • Must have development experience using J2EE technologies • Must have five years of project management experience on large IT Development projects using structured PM and System Development methodologies/practices. • MS Project and Rally Dev experience is a huge plus • Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization (Project Management Institute-PMP Certification) highly desired • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree a plus Must Haves: -Agile-Test Driven Development (TDD) -ScrumMaster Plus -E-Commerce (this for AA.com redesign project) -Java/J2EE development background is a must   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
