JOB TITLE: Altiris/SMP Engineer
Contract to Hire



MUST HAVES:
2+ years experience managing:
Altiris 6.x (ITMS)
SMP 7.1 (ITMS)
SQL Server 2005 and higher
Medium to large Altiris / SMP environments
Windows XP / 2003 and higher

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Work with a team of three to support our Altiris 6.x and SMP 7.1 (ITMS solutions) environments and the migration from version 6 to 7.1.

SKILLS:
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Altiris 6.x, Symantec Management Platform 7.1, ITMS 7.1 and Windows operating systems: Hierarchy & replication Security & scoping Patch Management Software Deployment Reporting via SQL Windows 4 and higher IIS 6 and higher Database connectivity The following skills are a plus: Database Server management OSX SUSE Linux 10 and higher VMware / vCenter Software packaging Scripting ASP .Net HTML / XML
