He/she will participate in data requirements gathering and analysis. LEVEL 3 Requirements: Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent and 5-7 years of related and progressively more responsible experience. Performs a challenging range and variety of complex technical or professional work activities. Undertakes work which requires the application of fundamental principles in a wide and often unpredictable range of contexts. Has an in-depth understanding of a discipline and of the interactions between various disciplines and/or functions. May provide direction to more junior staff. Works under broad direction. Isfully accountable for own technical work and/or project/supervisory responsibilities. Responsible for defining the end-to-end DB2 10.1 database architecture for a new OLTP and Data Warehouse solution. This includes database topology for production and non production environments, database partitioning strategy to handle IRS and non-IRS data, fail over and redundancy, test data management techniques, database configuration management, query & database performance optimization, database encryption & security, data base administration. Skills: Prior experience defining new database solutions at an enterprise scale (10-20TB+). Strong written and oral communication skills.
