Job Description : Power BI Developer - Analytic Consultant Wells Fargo – Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Portfolio Management Data & Analytics The individual for this position will support the day-to-day tasks and ongoing project work required to supply data and reporting to CIB line of business areas and support partners (i.e. Commercial Credit and Risk Asset Review). This includes data sourcing, mapping, report/dashboard development and supporting various ad hoc requests. As part of a small team, the individual must be comfortable working independently, within tight deadlines and alternatives hours to support the international aspects of the business. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Meeting with customers to understand and document business requirements. Develop understanding of business processes and recommend efficiency based on technical and architectural knowledge Managing and importing data into databases Developing reports Verifying accuracy of reports, reconciling data and producing data/information within established timelines Working with technology partners to managing tables, views and other database structures to adapt to changing business needs and in compliance with embedded IT policies. Answering ad hoc questions from customers including confirming data, populating templates provided to the group or creating new reports/extracts as requested by customers Participating in projects to support CIB initiatives Candidates should have a solid mastery of Power BI and be comfortable working with SQL Server, Teradata, SSRS and Tableau. The successful candidate will have a very strong interest in developing both business and technical skills while navigating a dynamic business environment. Working with senior consultants or directly with partners, responsible for identifying and defining business requirements and translating business needs into moderately complex analyses and recommendations. Performs analysis of findings and trends using statistical and/or financial analysis, modeling, process documentation, profitability analysis, customer/demographic analysis, etc.; recommends solutions to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, compliance, etc. Identifies business requirements and analytical needs; identifies and recommends potential data sources; compiles and mines data from multiple, cross business sources. Develops specific, customized reports, ad hoc analyses and/or data visualizations to make recommendations for alternatives. Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies. May provide guidance to less experienced specialists. May partner with technology and/or with other business groups.
