Responsibilities

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Fremont, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

QA Automation:

Solid experience in automation using one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript/Type Script or Python (Preferably Python)
Proficient in designing/creating automation frameworksusing Java or Python
Strong knowledge in one or more tools Webdriver / Appium or WebdriverJS
Strong Understanding of REST and demonstrated experience with web services APIs testing/automation
Strong Database testing, SQL query development
Very good experience in using open source tools like Git, stash and Jenkins
Good experience with Protractor, BDD (e.g Cucumber, Jasmine), Continuous Integration (e.g., Jenkins, Hudson) or Delivery
Basic knowledge of unit testing using tools like TestNG, JUnit
Debugging distributed systems and applications
Clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements and project management
Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices
Testing & Automation of API and Micro services is a must

1st Round : About project Experience coding Exercise - Count the no of a times a word appears in a string. SQL command to find the list of managers in a table where managers have more than 4 subordinates.

2nd round : REST API testing Coding Exercise. write possible test cases to validate a given Rest Service and a JSON to calculate the sum of 2 values. 3rd Round : Coding Exercise - Given a String, reverse the last word to first and print the remaining string at the end.

4th Round : Coding Exercise : (Pseudo Code )Given an array of positive and negative integers {-1,6,9,-4,-10,-9,8,8,4} (repetition allowed) sort the array in a way such that the starting from a positive number, the elements should be arranged as one positive and one negative element maintaining insertion order. First element should be starting from positive integer and the resultant array should look like {6,-1,9,-4,8,-10,8,-9,4}
