Organization ? Identification and training of data roles & responsibilities o 2. Policies ? Identify & assist in drafting applicable data policies o 3. Procedures ? Identify & assist in drafting applicable data procedures o 4. Standards & Definitions ? Identify & assist in drafting data standards and definitions o 5. Architecture ? Identify & assist in the development of business processes and data flows and the technology architecture related to the data going under governance o 6. Security/Admin/Controls ? Identify & assist in the development of data security, administration and controls information o 7. Reports & Metrics ? Identify and assist in the development the data quality metrics (accuracy, timeliness, accessibility, completeness and correctness) o 8. Audit ? Gather and record deliverables of Elements 1-7 • Work can be completed at any location including remote. • This engagement is to educate and work through a set of data to be governed. It may not include completing every Data Governance requirement (ie. Actual drafting of a data policy) but will result in a work breakdown structure) for all work to be completed. Managed Service Provider Request for Project Services Template 3.2 Agency Tasks and Responsibilities • Each participating agency will name the data owner and data roles for the engagement. • Each participating agency will work with the awarded vendor to create and/or consolidate the deliverables for the 8 Elements of Data Governance. • Each participating agency will work with the awarded vendor to continue all data governance functions, act on data governance concerns and continuously improve the data governance process(es) during the engagement. • Each participating agency will store the data governance policy (.doc) in the state-wide data library (Alation). 3.3 Deliverables • Vendor will provide the training “Education of the 8 Elements of Data Governance” to each participating agency • Vendor will provide the training “Education for the roles of data governance” to each participating agency. • Vendor will perform any tracking and recording of the work to be done to get the data set under data governance using the Data Governance Playbook as dictated by each participating agency. • Vendor will complete a work breakdown structure to complete all parts of the 8 Elements of Data Governance   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
