The focus will be on supporting, monitoring, measuring, and reporting on the Software License Management tools and processes, as well as responding to service requests. This position will work closely with 3rd party service providers as well as internal groups to support license requests and renewals in a timely and cost effective manner. However, responsibilities may shift as required to support License Management. This position will require excellent information gathering, analytical and communication capabilities to use in supporting end user service requests and enabling data feeds to support License Management processes. This position may also be required identify, measure, and assess key performance metrics to ensure the processes are working properly and to recommend corrective measures. The position will reference standard operating practices and policies across IS, as well as best practices identified by 3rd party service providers, and may help implement continuous improvement actions in support of License Management. The position will monitor adherence to the processes and recommend exception handling guidelines, escalation guidelines, and any other operational controls which would promote process adherence and improved operations. This position will be required to attend or facilitate meetings of 3rd party service providers, cross functional IS and supplier support groups. The position may be expected to make recommendations for improvements in documented practices and reports. This position may be expected to document performance metrics and continuous improvement actions. Basic Qualifications Masters degree OR Bachelors degree & 2 years of directly related experience OR Associates degree & 4 years of directly related experience OR High school diploma / GED & 5 years of directly related experience Required Qualifications: - Domain expertise in software license management - Ability to independently and professionally respond to, update, document, and track services requests (i.e. tickets) to completion for a variety of licensing needs such as: confirmation of license availability, How-To questions, license use rights questions, quote requests, license installer/key requests, and client specific installation reports. - Experience with software license management entitlement data and software purchasing - Ability to search for and compile historic purchase records, associated quotes, and contracts from a variety of systems (e.g. SAP, Ariba) - Ability to normalize purchase records from multiple data sources into a common spreadsheet or data load template format - Ability to independently track and report progress of completion of data compilation efforts for a large set of IS vendors - Ability to normalize hardware asset status data from multiple data sources into a common spreadsheet or data load template format - Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities throughout the software lifecycle (e.g. discovery improvements, software recognition, distribution controls, internal audits) - Ability to implement mail merge templates, reply to resulting end user questions, and summarize end user responses - Experience developing queries, creating, and analyzing software license reports - Experience supporting software license audits (internal and external) - Experience with software license administration, software catalogs, software downloads, and license key management - Experience with license reporting and tracking for software true-ups and renewals - Strong   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
