Job Description Engineer: EMC SANS, Autosys, Aix, VIO san Nfs Patch Management VMWare Envi

** Only W2 Employee - No Subcontracting

** Can submit at higher rate

*** Over Time is paid at 1.420 times
OT - Extra Hours on Weekdays and Saturdays

*** Double Time is paid at 2.0 times
DT - Hours worked on Sundays

Sr. Systems Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Provide operational system administration support for AIX based servers in a high availability, 24x7x365 environment
Experience of working with Aix 6.x with EMC SAN environment
Deploy Aix release to production and lower environment using alt_disk_install
Familiarity with Network Install Manager
Knowledge of Autosys
Experienced on VIO Servers, vSCSI and NPIV implementations
Monitor alerting systems and servers.
Perform troubleshooting, resolution and problem analysis.
Drive continual service improvement.
Provide and receive cross training from immediate support team.
In-depth documentation of activities and system configuration.

Job Related Experience

Minimum five years of experience with AIX platforms.
Technology Level and Service Patch deployment
OS troubleshooting and provisioning
In-depth understanding of SAN/NFS
Performance tuning analysis, experience of using nmon, vmware and topas etc.
ksh and Perl scripting
