This is required as the Software AG 9.12 will reach end of maintenance support in mid-2019. The project scope is to assist staff to stand up all new Software AG components for the latest 10.1 version in brand new Virtual Machines, and to transition all development and re-establish connections with remote systems to this new 10.1 environment. The need will help to enhance the ability to install, configure the new 10.1 systems, and conduct testing as required of the new system to ensure proper operation of the new system. The contracting resource will work under the supervision of the companys employees and to perform the steps under the instructions provided by the employees. The deliverable are installed and configured systems given by the companys guideline and instruction, and also reporting of system verification. Educational Requirement: Must have a BA degree in software or other related field from an accredited college. Responsibilities include: 1. Assist in the installation and configuration of the Software AG 10.1 environment. Components include Software AGs webMethods components, such as Integration Server, my webMethods, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, Insight, Optimize for Infrastructure, etc. 2. Perform OS level patching as directed by the staff. The OS level patching is a monthly exercise. Due to the number of servers being supported (100+), it will off load the staff workload during the upgrade exercise. 3.
