Job Description :


No remote work- 100% onsite in Peoria, IL at Caterpillar


Requirements:

3+ years C# experience
3+ years of .NET experience
2+ years Cloud experience (Azure is ideal as that is what the mobile tool is hosted on- open to AWS experience as well)
Previous experience with Message Queuing
Strong communication skills- ability to interact with larger teams and ability to interact with non-technical individuals
4-year degree in computer science or related discipline

Responsibilities include:

Lead developer for company dealer/customer-based cloud based application (30% support, 70% new development)
Will work with lead architect to translate high level design into software components and then writing the code and leading junior offshore developers in doing the same
Develop code for new enhancements, helping junior developers resolve support issues
Interact with offshore and onshore development team
Work with business partners to define estimates for new functionality
Typical Work Day:

20-30% working on support for the app
70% working on new development tasks
Work with architect and take designs for new features and implement them to the app
Will work with business partners to verify requirements (good communication skills is important)
