The network encompasses a high availability design within a dual data center environment along with connectivity to many other Fiserv data centers. Essential Job Responsibilities: 1. Design solutions by reviewing client requirements and provide network proposals following established networking standards and best practices. 2. Implement network solutions created as part of the Network Proposal process which enables clients to meet their business and operational goals 3. Accountability to resolve project level, cross functional, partnership issues and escalations with both technology teams and business unit associates. 4. Participation in Disaster Recovery design testing, pre-certification testing and trouble isolation. 5. Performs other duties as required Education: • Required: High school diploma or equivalent Certifications: • Required – CCNA or equivalent work experience Job Related Experience: • Minimum years experience required – 3 to 5 years hands on within a Cisco network • Type of work experience required – Hands on layer 2 (Spanning-tree, HSRP), Layer 3 (EIGRP and BGP), NAT • Supervisory/Management experience required - No Additional Skills/Knowledge: • Ability to handle multi-tasks and meet deadlines • Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal supervision • Ability to communicate both verbally and written with a high level of confidence. • High organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
