The current network architecture consists of multiple regions peered with eBGP, typically with single area OSPF internally. Routing policy is configured with a combination of aggregation, route leaking, and BGP communities. Typical duties for this role are as follows: Implementing IETF Best Current Practices when appropriate (e.g. BCP38) Establishing operational processes and procedures for networking Implementing high-availability networks Ensuring that networking Service Level Agreements are consistently met Recommending enhancements Documentation Troubleshooting Extensive knowledge with Cisco routers and switches, specifically Cisco Nexus line, 3750, 3560 switches; Cisco 3800, 2900, 1900 and 1800 routers and AS5500 security appliances in an enterprise environment Tier 2/3 support Required Technology Experience Experience using dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
