We have a 12-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Business Analyst, Expert Will develop a web-based application and reporting system that will streamline operational processes, improve customer service, and increase data accuracy and integrity. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Using business analysis methods to elicit requirements from DHCR users for the new application Guiding requirements sessions with DHCR and ITS staff Documenting requirements for the new application using defined ITS standards and templates. Developing, analyzing, and revising system diagrams (flowcharts, strategy maps, etc.) as needed Communicating business and process requirements to DHCR staff, ITS staff and project leadership Verify and validate requirements and deliverables at each phase of analysis and testing Tracking /documenting changes to functional and business specifications Participating in the development of test plans and overseeing system changes to ensure DHCR requirements are met Mandatory Qualifications: Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. 84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 months of experience working on IT projects, as lead business analyst, that involved use of business analysis strategies to gather and document new system requirements 84 months of experience working as lead business analyst on projects on which the candidate used recognized business process management methodologies (e.g., elicitation and documentation of business process requirements, business process modeling, As-is and To-be workflow development and gap analysis, etc.) to define and analyze current processes in order to remodel/design the new processes 84 months of experience in internal and external stakeholder communication and outreach, including development of presentations and other materials that promote the rethinking of core business processes and envisioning of a reengineered environment 48 months of experience facilitating and documenting business requirements on projects with three or more client teams of subject matter experts 24 months experience with the developing test plans for the project and with overseeing system changes or enhancements to ensure user and program requirements are met Languages Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Additional vendor information Candidates need to meet 60% of the Preferred Qualifications to qualify for the position.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
