The Analyst will work closely with DAS/Procurement Management and staff and will be provided with: a) DAS/Procurement Business Plan (Vision, Mission, Values, Goals & Objectives), b) an overview of our current environment and current technology functionality, c) the results from a LEAN workshop on our sourcing processes, and d) discussion/documentation on our future functionality needs. The IT Business Analyst will then draft our technology requirements to be included in a future Request for Proposal for a more modern e-sourcing technology solution. The IT Business Analyst will also guide DAS/Procurement on an implementation plan. The IT Business Analyst will be expected to work closely with the DAS Procurement Division Management and staff to produce requirements documentation for inclusion in a Request for Proposal for an e-sourcing system, and recommendations for a project implementation plan for a new system. The current system interfaces with the State ERP (financial) system and Oracle/PeopleSoft. Someone with hands-on experience and knowledge of such sourcing and financial systems (or similar systems) would be optimal. Preferred 6-8 years of experience.
