Job Description Architect: Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Data Modeling, Data Quality Management Metadata Managem

Our client needs a Data Warehouse Architect with experience in defining roadmap and migration strategy for DWH that includes re-platform, Data Architecture, Data Model integration, ETL/DB/BI Infrastructure , hands-on experience with DW/BI toolsets, audit control balance model, reference data management, conformed dimensions, facts & aggregates, Operational Reporting Intelligence, Data Quality model, Metadata Management, etc.

Responsibilities:
o Assess requirements, direct the discovery process and establish the DW/BI strategy
o Analyze and oversee conversion of mainframe ETI modules to Informatica mapping specifications
o Analyze user information needs and accessibility requirements for ETL and Database applications
o Collect history data/replication requirements and define data migration, arch. /retention Strategy
o Collect current environment statistics and define Infrastructure strategy for ETL and Database to achieve load-balancing & high availability and to support all project initiatives
o Present the future state Data Warehouse strategy and roadmap to senior management
o Collaborate with BI Architect to define the Information delivery strategy
o Define the overall data warehouse architecture (e.g., ETL process, ODS, EDW, Data Marts)
o Estimate cost and define the implementation plan and Infrastructure Strategy
o Evaluate the Change data, slowly changing dimensions design and Operational data store design
o Define reference data architecture, meta data, data quality & audit control balance strategy
o Define and direct the information access and information delivery effort for data warehouse
o Define and direct the implementation of security requirements for the data warehouse
o Define the DW operations including process architecture and system processes
o Define production release requirements, batch schedule and sustainable architecture
Qualifications:
o Minimum 12 years of experience in Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence area
o Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Modeling, Meta Data Management and Data Quality
o Minimum 8 years of experience in sizing and capacity planning for Data Warehouse
o Minimum 5 years of experience with Informatica and experience with multiple ETL tools is a plus
o Experience with Mainframe (JCL, Cobol, TSO etc;) is a plus
o Experience with RDBMS is required and exposure to DB2 database is a plus
o Experience with Business Objects is a plus and experience with other BI tools is a plus
o Experience in Financial Industry, Exposure to key financial services regulations is a plus
o Strong verbal and written communication skills; very strong influencing, facilitation skills.
o Experience working with diverse global teams and must be team player.
o Minimum: BS/BA degree
