This function also supports the IM Intake function in developing prototypes for the business team and customizing data sets to better support the delivery of business requirements. Responsibilities include: coding BI reports and processes designing, developing and testing system BI solution components mentoring business users in BI report navigation, interactions and usage building prototypes and coordinating prototype reviews participating in estimating task effort and duration customizing tools and data sets for use by different types of data consumers assisting with designing and coding the functions of the application under direction of the team lead, architect and project manager producing efficient error-free reports developing and conducting unit test plans assisting in implementation of software monitoring and improving performance of data warehouse analytical and operational reporting environments preparing applicable system documentation working with architects and/or technical leads to translate requirements into technical specifications developing and implementing tools or applications for accessing and analyzing data and metadata participating in the refinement of data models required to support specific business user needs participating in the development, training and support for business users assisting in handling help desk activity in support of current BI applications meeting the estimated hour estimates based on assumptions and scope of the effort staying abreast of technology, tools and opportunities and identifying ways to incorporate new tools and ideas into Primes development process creation, maintenance and review of Business Objects Universes Requirements Required Education: Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign) in Computer Science, Computer and Information Sciences, Software Engineering or closely related field, or education and/or experience determined to be equivalent to such a degree OR a Masters Degree (U.S. or foreign) in Computer Science, Computer and Information Sciences, Software Engineering or closely related field. at least 3-5 years of experience in an IT Business Intelligence position involving applications and programs designed to present and utilize data analytic tools to analyze data and present it in a useful format; at least 3 years of experience using SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence Development; at least 3 years of experience using Business Objects Universe Development to create and store selected data in a database for more refined analysis   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
