Job Description Administrator: SharePoint 2007/2010, SQL Server 2005 And Above, Business Intelligence, DASHBOARD CREATION Architecting Customer

The SharePoint specialist should be able to install, manage and configure SharePoint including MasterPages, be able to support organizational Branding and should be proficient with developing customized web pages. We have interviewed numerous candidates, all of whom appear to have a broad knowledge of SharePoint but as of yet, we have not encountered an individual who can customize and manage a SharePoint instance. This position is critical for us and we must fill this position with a candidate who can perform both development and management.

The Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Governing Board Senior SharePoint Spe-cialist/Administrator is responsible for the implementation, support and development of SharePoint services, Business Intelligence Key Performance Indicators, dashboards and web content. This person will also be responsible for the administration of the SharePoint server. This position will report to the Senior Operations Manager.

II. Desirable Characteristics
The individual who fills this position should have solid SharePoint 2007 and/or 2010 man-agement/development skills, the ability to foster and ensure cooperation and coordination among the various CJIS partners. The desirable skills are:

* At least 5+ years of solid technical experience with SharePoint 2007 and 2010. The minimum requirement for this position is 3 years experience with SQL 2005/2008 and 3 years in SharePoint 2007 or 2010 administration.
* Microsoft SharePoint Certification.
* Extensive to enhance SharePoint sites using Master Pages, Web Parts, .Net Tech-nologies and third party applications.
* Ability to expand SharePoint sites using Web Farms
* Strong background with SQL Server 2005 and 2008 R2 and optionally 2012
* Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assur-ance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions.
* At least 3 years experience in Business Intelligence and dashboards development and management.
* Good problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies.
* Full lifecycle experience in architecting large scale scaleable applications.
* Possess knowledge and experience in developing, customizing and implementing software solutions.
* Strong customer service skills and demonstrated ability to build professional relation-ships.
* Good communication skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) to all levels of the business.
* Must have 10 years technical experience in Information Technology.
* This focus requires the capability to build trust and nurture relationships with CJIS partners while maintaining the project momentum and progress.
* Demonstrate experience in Agile (Scrum) software development short iterations cy-cles and keep track of work-items, and on time delivery.


The responsibilities include:
* Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions
* Awareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs
* Design and implement development workflow
* Coding, testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environment.
* Taking directions from management in implementing solutions.
* Unit testing for all assigned deliverables.
* Will work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration.
* Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, iden-tify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement.
* Other duties assigned by the Senior Operation Manager.
