Markit EDM Certified Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions Produces detailed time line for each application release and implements effective project control by monitoring the progress of the software release and reporting the status Designs, code and unit test plans where applicable Approves all business requirements prior to the technical solution Represents the IT function at customer review meeting when appropriate Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate a clear understanding and expertise of each and all data domains listed below: o Referential Data: SMF and Portfolio Master o Market Data: Prices, F/X, and Schedules Demonstrate a clear expertise with regards to the Markit EDM/ Cadis Architecture, and the Cadis Solutions/Modules. Hands-on development and implementation experience in Cadis for building a reference data platform. Effective decision maker Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences both in the written and verbal Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Demonstrate Analytical and problem solving skills A strong SQL knowledge is required (design and coding) Demonstrate the understanding of Investment Asset Classes and how they are managed Demonstrate an understanding of investment operations and fundamental investment operational workflows.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
