The candidate will be responsible for supporting IT infrastructure, including Desktop, Network, Storage, Telecom and Datacenter. There are roughly 50 employees at this location and this individual will work and troubleshoot infrastructure related problems. Perform Statement of SSAE16 and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) policy and compliance activities within the Little Rock facility. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in an it related field along with 3-5 years of desktop/infrastructure troubleshooting experience. This individual will need to be a jack of all trades and have experience with a wide variety of issues. There is an on-call schedule (outlined at the bottom) so candidates will need to have experience or be comfortable working on call. ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support IT Operations computer systems to meet business requirements Deploy equipment and software and troubleshoot for desktop, telecom, network and server hardware/software and end-user support Provide ongoing SSAE 16 and CIP audit support to meet compliance requirements Process requests from the Change/Incident ticket system to meet customers needs Engage MISO resolution processes to troubleshoot issues and meet business needs Evaluate organizational risk and identify solutions using advanced analytical techniques Assist with the design, scheduling and completion of projects to ensure department efficiency Maintain data center documentation (equipment placements, cabling, connectivity, etc.) Physical deployment of systems in the data center to meet business needs Perform maintenance activities for control center video boards to maintain business continuity Ensure operating system installation upgrades and patches and the installation of third party products to meet business needs Provide systems configuration management Ensure efficient and economical utilization of equipment and resources Assist in moving equipment to different locations within the building as needed to meet business requirements Work cross-functionally to examine highly complex data from multiple sources in which results are not predictable to problem solve and identify solutions to meet business needs Apply analysis to identify trends and predict future issues to effectively implement courses of action Ability to make timely recommendations to effectively solve problems, using independent judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and/or law. Professionally exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work Compliance with all processes, procedures, and standards applicable to the position including (but not limited to): SSAE16 SOC 1 (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 Service Organization Controls 1) , CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection), Change Management, Tariff (Open Access Transmission, Energy and Operating Reserve Markets Tariff), FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission), NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation), U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and NAESB (North American Energy Standards Board) Complete all other duties as assigned Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or IT related field - At least two years of related Desktop Support experience, required - At least one year of Networking administration, required - System performance monitoring and tuning - Flexible schedule and must be comfortable working an on-call schedule once they get trained and up to speed Pluses: - Certifications such as CCNA, MCP   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
