The COTS solution is a third party web hosted Laboratory Information Materials Management System (LIMMS) that will be used for construction asset sampling and testing statewide. This person will serve as the Senior Project Manager coordinating the COTS testing and implementation activities of the COTS vendor, PMO, MassDOT Information Technology Management, the end user Materials Lab Operations staff and other key stakeholders as well as senior management. The PM must be able to facilitate multi-faceted test and review sessions, communicate progress, and balance the fiscal and operational priorities of the project against stakeholder expectations, resolving ambiguity of direction and competing priorities in a professional and collaborative manner. Must be able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but also roll up their sleeves, champion the objectives of the project, dig in and get the job done.
