You will play a key role in building the next generation site for one of the clients most visible partnership initiatives. Responsibilities Create cross-browser, fully functional web pages using HTML5, CSS2, and JavaScript and responsive coding techniques while strictly adhering to accessibility and W3C web standards Work with business clients, internal and external, to scope, structure and deliver complex web products Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, web publishers, producers and back-end engineers to support site operations and meet project deadlines Troubleshoot and resolve code issues to ensure adherence to best practices and group standards Review new code following W3C web standards and strict QA guidelines Support site operations through creating / updating site code and configuring content via in-house CMS Project responsibilities include development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance Required Skills: 5+ years relevant work experience Proven experience hand-coding HTML5 using semantic markup, the latest W3C web standards, and CSS3 layout / positioning Experience creating mobile optimized sites through responsive coding techniques Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery coding patterns Understanding of version control best practices Desired (not required) Skills: 7+ years relevant work experience Familiarity with XSL, XSLT, and XML stylesheets Basic knowledge of WCAG/508 compliance and accessibility Experience using Git version control software Advanced jQuery, including writing modules Passion for maintaining a high level of code quality Experience working with large scale Content Management Systems in support of an enterprise scale, public-facing website Education/Certifications: Bachelors Degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
