Desired skills - Well versed with Java platform, Spring technologies such as Spring Boot, etc. Well versed with messaging platform such as Kafka. Strong with hands-on coding with Java and Spring libraries. Good knowledge of relational and nosql databases. Good knowledge of HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) and related technologies such as Hive, HBase, etc. Good knowledge of secure coding practices. JOB SUMMARY The successful candidate will need to provide technical guidance and solutions to an expanding internal team that Architects all Solutions at Enterprise level. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Initiate initial high-level technical assessment and feasibility analysis Led High level design, low level design review and oversee code reviews Overall technical leadership and consultancy as required by projects and teams Led technical assessment, implementation and integration into backend systems Conduct POCs to verify the viability of proposed solutions Partner with Application Architect teams on overarching strategy for technology integration Understand the business objectives of the projects interfacing with supported applications, identify key technical challenges REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to analyze and interpret data Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Ability to manage multiple projects at one time Strong understanding of JavaScript scoping, inheritance, closures, objects/classes, etc Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming Experience with one or more SPA frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, Backbone, etc) Strong understanding of web security concepts, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques (cookies, XSS, CSRF, etc) Experience with JavaScript build tools (webpack, r.js, grunt, bower, etc) Experience with code quality tools (ex. eslint, jshint) and integration into build process and experience building SPAs via continuous integration tools Goals oriented, with proven track record in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and driving results, especially via influence management Demonstrated ability to successfully distill complex technical information into clear business language Education BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
