We have a 24-month project with our client in Menands, NY that requires a Senior Data Warehouse Architect Support the development of business solutions in response to critical agency requirements for the Enterprise Information Management Project. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Work with SMEs, Business Analysts and Technology teams to understand the data requirements and the full attribute set for entities and dimensions. Convert business processes, domain specific knowledge, and information needs into a conceptual model. Convert conceptual models into logical models with detailed descriptions of entities and dimensions. Develop and maintain fully defined conceptual, logical, and physical dimensional data models to ensure the information models are capable of meeting end user and developer needs. Develop data models and data migration strategies utilizing sound concepts of data modeling including star schema, snowflake schema, etc. Model aggregation layers and specific star schemas as subject areas within a logical and physical model Meet referential data integrity requirements Document decisions made in meetings and alternative solutions discussed. Mandatory Qualifications: Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. 60-84 months-Candidate able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 66 Months experience with developing and maintaining logical and physical dimensional data models including star schema and snowflake schema. 66 Months experience in a data modeling tool (e.g., ErWin, ER/Studio). 66 Months experience in relational data management disciplines and design and development experience using Oracle technologies. 66 Months experience with SQL programming. 60 Months experience working with business intelligence tools (e.g., OBIEE 11G). 60 Months experience working with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica). 60 Months experience with designing, creating applications and health care Data Warehouse and business intelligence reporting solutions. 48 Months experience working with HIPAA requirements or similar standards and Accessibility Standards. 48 Months experience with reviewing the data modeling of others for compliance and accepted standards of development.
