Primarily responsible to develop, deploy and support a variety of business database applications and systems. Responsible for development of PL/SQL stored procedures, Responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of data transformation and information retrieval requirements that meet application and technical architecture objectives. Additional responsibilities will include query performance tuning, data analysis and technical documentation. The LIMS Systems Analyst/Programmer candidate should have at least entry-level experience with programming, debugging and PL/SQL. Experience with VGL, PL/SQL, Infomaker report creation and configuration and data relationship models in Thermo SampleManager LIMS 2004R2 is ideally desired. The candidate should have direct experience in coordinating and documenting changes following GMP change control processes from initiation through closure. Lastly, the candidate will have experience with test script writing and test set execution ideally within HP Quality Center/Application Lifecycle Management tools.
