Job Description : Role Overview The Information Security Engineer implements and maintains Information Security technical controls in accordance with the corporate information security program. The Security Engineer performs the identification, evaluation, selection, implementation and optimization of new Information Security initiatives. The Security Engineer provides support for security events and incidents and resolves or escalates as necessary. Key Areas of Responsibility Design, develop, implement and maintain information security technologies to enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures Build and maintain threat intelligence and vulnerability management practices Perform risk analysis for initiatives to protect against potential security issues Support security policies, practices and guidelines and make recommendations for change as needed. Maintain and expand current knowledge of the information security threat landscape, security framework, application security and technology advancements in the IT industry. Provide operational support for Information Security technologies, including participation in 24/7 on-call support rotation. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent experience 3 years cumulative information security experience which should in any of the following domains: Network & Endpoint Security Cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure Necurity Monitoring & Incident Handling Threat Intelligence Vulnerability Management Identity & Access Management Security Operations Other Required Qualifications. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders including senior leadership. Demonstrated experience in managing projects Ability to mentor junior team members History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
