DBMS datawarehouse Data Modeler Oracle 10g Oracle 11g SQL IBM OS390 Modeler (Jobs   Requirement id 5617 Job title Modeler Job location in Charlotte, NC Skills required DBMS, Data Integration, datawarehouse, Data Modeler Oracle 10g Oracle 11g SQL I Open Date 26-Jul-2011 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Phone Screen and Face to Face interview    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Modeler: DBMS, Data Integration, datawarehouse, Data Modeler Oracle 10g Oracle 11g SQL I • Possesses a solid understanding of the inter relationships of operations within the infrastructure. • Strong communication and analytical skills necessary for independent project work. • Good understanding of application of technology utilized to support one or more business areas. • May be required to coordinate small numbers of staff in the execution of projects.• Guides team members in the implementation of new ideas. • Takes informed and calculated risks needed to achieve results. • Helps create an environment that supports change and innovation • Knowledge of all DBMS environments and product mixes, more than one major business unit application portfolio and all business unit critical applications. • With no supervision, completes DBMS related functions and ensures accuracy of work, performing trend analysis for continuous improvement. • Trains others on DBMS process steps and tool features. • Work with end users to gain an understanding of the information and core data concepts behind their Business. • Work closely with end users, Business Analysts, and the Development Team to develop these data models. • Do extensive data profiling to understand the current data and recommend model changes and or business rules for conversions. • Identify the top 50 data quality issues with each project associated with the Asset management re-architecture programs• Rationalize and eliminate duplicate data stores and seek to define the system of record for all attributes within the adabas replatform project. • Assist in defining Business Requirements for IT projects. • Define Data and Requirements based on Business Process and/or Business Requirements Analysis. • Responsible for the design and development of transactional database models for custom application development. • Responsible for the design and development of database models for the operational data store, data warehouse, and federated databases to support Enterprise Information Management Strategy. • Work closely with Data Integration developer to define schema definitions. • Define data reconciliation between integrated systems. • Perform data analysis to troubleshoot systems and/or process issues. • Define and implement data migration process for implementation. • Assist in the oversight for compliance to the Enterprise Data Standards. • Ensure database design best practices for custom applications development and data integration. • Strong business requirements and data analysis experience.5 - 7 years of data modeling experience with relational modeling techniques. • 7+ years of experience in software development and/or business system implementation. • Experience in developing Transactional and ODS databases. • Experience with Oracle 10 and 11g • Must have a good understanding of data relationships and a strong command of SQL syntax. • Experience with Erwin 7.5.2. • Experience with IBM IIS (datastage, quality stage, information analyzer, data profiler and data discovery)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
