Description: The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Engineer will be the primary resource for any reported environment related issues and defects for the organizations transformation program. The individual will need to be able to interface with offshore development teams, onshore application owners, QA test team and DevOps team; keeping all relevant groups informed and in sync. The ability to do an initial assessment and triage will be key, while working with the teams previously mentioned to manage to timelines. Primary Responsibilities: •Lead efforts for additional build out of programs cloud infrastructure •Resolve issues, interruptions and support defects related to programs environment landscape •Provide bandwidth support to DevOps team as needed •Provide recommendations for optimization of cloud infrastructure Must Have: •Extensive experience within the GCP platform including VM, Deployment Manager, Shell Scripting, GLB/NLB components •Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and/or continuous integration/delivery. •Knowledge of networking and web standards such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, web security mechanisms, proxies, port forwarding, firewall rules and load balancers. •Knowledge of cloud computing; virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems and content delivery networks. •Experience with large cross-functional teams, strong customer-facing communication, with the ability to work directly with client and clients technical teams. Nice to Have: •Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management. •Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). •Knowledge of SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform •Experience with Java, J2EE and Spring •Experience developing web-based applications with SOAP and/or REST Relevant Technologies: •Linux •Bash Shell Scripting •Git version control •MySQL •Splunk •New Relic •Akamai or other CDN   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
