The website will disseminate the studys technical elements, proposed guidelines, and public involvement resources. The website and associated resources will be available for use by UDOT employees, UDOTs safety partners, municipalities, and the public. Creation of the custom website and associated raised median guidelines applications will require extensive familiarity and demonstrated recent experience with local and national access management guidelines and standards, UDOT general standards and processes, and UDOT raised median installation and maintenance practices. It is required that the project website launch by September 2018 and include high quality website design and content. The website must incorporate UDOT branding that consists of the following elements: • Must use modern web technologies and adhere to Utah Department of Technology Services standards. • Synthesize information gathered as part of the UDOT Traffic & Safety Divisions Raised Median Guidelines project. • Develop an interactive form or other custom scoring/flowchart application that enables any user to input characteristics for a given section of roadway and obtain recommendations, along with additional related information, for raised medians on that specific section of roadway. • Create an interface for accessing and storing project documents, videos, and other public outreach tools and information. • Create and incorporate original urban design exhibits/graphics for the various UDOT approved median elements, treatments, roadway cross-section layouts, and any adjacent land use contexts associated with the Raised Median Guidelines project. This will include creating graphics for navigation and 2D/3D renderings of approved median treatments. • Conduct testing of website function and security prior to launch. • Coordinate and provide information to the UDOT Traffic & Safety Division Raised Median Guidelines project manager, team members, and project consultants at regularly scheduled intervals associated with key milestones.
