Job Description : Brief Description: The application manager is responsible for managing the operational support, maintenance and development activities for Enterprise Document Solution applications. The position combines managerial responsibilities with in-depth hands-on technical expertise. Detailed Description: The candidate will be responsible for: the oversight of design, development, unit testing and installation activities for enhancement, upgrade and maintenance updates for Enterprise Document Solution (EDS) applications; collaboration with project management, business analyst and quality assurance to build effective project teams; the identification, management and enforcement of functional policies, procedures and quality assurance best practices for the EDS development team; evaluating project status and recommending changes to improve delivery efficiency to ensure the development team meets deadlines and budgets while delivering high quality output; working with application vendor(s) and business partners to outline support model; participating and providing input to planning, scope and commit estimate processes; Responsible Technology Manager (RTM) activities: maintaining currency of CMDB documentation and SLA reporting for all EDS applications; managing incident, problem and change management activities; ensuring EDS application vulnerabilities are addressed as needed; participation in annual application Audit activities, and coordination of Business Continuity exercises as required maintaining on call schedules and will be available for escalation and troubleshooting support; developing technology roadmaps; training plans for technical staff development; demonstrating leadership role in fostering Huntington core values – Can-Do Attitude, Service Heart, and Forward Thinking; other application manager duties as assigned. Basic qualifications Minimum 7 years of development experience with mainframe and distributed systems. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the technical management of a portfolio of applications. Experience working with Exstream (Batch PDF, On-Demand PDF and responsive HTML, Application Consolidator, Content Manager, Communication Server). Preferred qualifications Experience working with COBOL, Java, GIT, Jenkins, Zena, .NET, MQ, DataStage, DB2, CA-Doc View, and SAR. Experience in managing a development team with varying levels of technical expertise that are remotely located. Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to quickly adapt to changes in priority. Self-motivated and change oriented. Experience in developing technology roadmaps in concert with business and architecture partners. Experience with managing multiple vendor relationships.
