The candidate will participate in the business intake, business requirements analysis, design, unit test scripts development and QA activities in support of the agencys continued development of a SACWIS LINK application and the development of the new SACWIS application. The specific focus of this candidate will be the new SACWIS application development in JAD, requirements, design, testing and post production supportRefer to the State contracts for IT Professional Services Agreement (12PSX0251) for general experience and skill requirements for the job classification of Business Analyst 2. For this position, the candidate shares experience and judgment with team to plan and accomplish goals, leads groups in performing a variety of complicated tasks, mentors less experienced staff, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. In addition, the agency requires: A minimum of six (6) years of prior experience demonstrating the following knowledge and skills: 1. Experience in the analysis and design of appropriate solutions to enterprise business applications. 2. Experience in the documentation of specifications and design criteria. 3. Experience in the facilitation of requirements gathering meetings, presentations and/or design sessions. 4. Experience with DB2 support tools: QMF, SPUFI and FileAid for DB2 and the relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc. 5. Experience in developing the business requirements, design in the development and maintenance environment of web applications using .NET technologies. Experience with the following environments is preferred: 1. Microsoft Office suite, including Visio and MS Project. 2. Leading small groups of business and technical individuals to arrive at a common agreement regarding business specifications. 3. Understanding of the basics of user interface design in the client server environment. 4. Familiarity with SACWIS applications and child welfare subject matter. 5. Experience in the web applications using .NET technologies and the relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc. 6. Understand and hands-on experience in the HHS, SACWIS and state agency related subject matters is essential.
