Job Description Developer: Java Web Application Development, Meeting Facilitation, Documentation,

Description:

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Perform Java web application development
Participate in team meetings, discuss development specifications, and contribute ideas and thoughts
Interpret program specifications and use cases and develop solutions using a Java IDE
Prepare technical documentation, solution prototypes, conduct demonstrations of work in progress
Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Preferred Qualifications:

84 months experience with writing Java application software for data access, data structures, data manipulation and databases.
48 months development experience in the FileNet Suite of products.
60 months assisting and/or leading in the design of program specifications to implement software solutions.
60 months experience with application standard design patterns (J2EE) to solve complex business problems.
84 months experience providing WebSphere and JBOSS Enterprise Application Server services, Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and mainframe integration development experience.
84 months experience analyzing business processes and workflows and working with non-technical staff to develop system specifications and resolve problems.
48 months experience with use of XML and web services in a J2EE environment.
60 months performing testing and implementation, and preparing technical and user documentation, software conversions.
48 or more months experience working with/developing Java solutions with a Web security protocol using LDAP and Netegrity SiteMinder.
48 months experience in configuration management utilities for Java applications.
