Description:

Required Skills:
*Support this agency initiative in all aspects related to delivering technical solutions that meet stakeholder expectations, to including but not limited to performance, quality, and IT standards requirements.
*Participate as both the projects technical solution architect and technical lead.
*Define and/or implement approved enterprise technical architectures or environments that support this projects solution goals.
*Participate as a technical lead in all project solution deliverables across the full project life-cycle (analysis, design, develop, implement, testing, & deployment)
*Manage all technical aspects of enhancing the “My L&I” project solution in alignment to L&Is strategic E-Government initiative and in alignment (including compliance) to L&Is technology standards
*Participate in all aspects of “My L&I” project deliverables to ensure non-functional requirements are satisfied (performance, quality, maintainability, sustainability, availability, etc.)
*Design and implement integration and messaging with back-end mainframe legacy applications
*Define and coordinate any IT Core system enhancements required by the targeted solution
*Work closely with agencys Enterprise Architecture team on alignment, compliance, potential research related to the project solution
*Development of conceptual and logical architecture designs for web component/platform implementation and/or development
*Participate as the development lead over the “My L&I” technical staff, as required.
*Adhere to agency IT standards, including architectural standards, standard development methodologies, data integration and database standards, and web UI design and standards.
*Define and/or implement solutions in compliance to enterprise technical architectures or environments that support L&Is business needs.
*Understand, advocate and augment the principles of business and IT — and more specifically enterprise architecture (EA) related to the end-to-end web enhancements related to this solution.
*Analyze enterprise business context (E-Government strategy) to derive technical architecture for the “My L&I” solution set.
*Assess new technology components/environments to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
*Understand, advocate and support the enterprises IT strategies related to this projects deliverables.
*Ensure compliance of new solutions to the governing principles and guidelines of the Enterprise Architecture Office (EAO) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) unit.
*Lead all of the development and implementation activities for the new web application/components based on business requirements and IT strategies.
*Consult with other L&I IT Core teams to align project deliverables to enterprise architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the enterprise architecture to accommodate project needs.
*Consult with infrastructure development project teams to align infrastructures to architecture models.
*Oversee the new application documentation of all architecture analysis, design, and implementation work. .
*Oversee the technical architecture of the new application for new and/or shared infrastructure solutions.
*Oversee and facilitate the selection of any required new hardware and/or software technologies.
*Oversee and facilitate the configuration of any required technology configurations to meet L&I standards.
*Consult with other L&I infrastructure and support teams to ensure alignment and compliance with other L&I systems or technical infrastructures.
*Document necessary technical architectures, analysis, designs, and configurations, possibly including project “as Built” documentation; including load, stress, and volume performance testing metrics.
