The Client Communications Writers key responsibility is to collaborate with technical subject matter experts to define and then communicate critical information that needs to be shared with our clients and our client-facing associates. This information can include details about product enhancements, operational maintenance events, and/or technical programming specifications that support clients card programs and is shared via email and electronic message boards. This is a fast paced environment that often means distilling very complex information into simplest terms in a short order.
This Client Communications Writer Associate position will primarily be responsible for creating internal and external communications. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong customer service background, ability to quickly assimilate and then document complicated concepts and is extremely well organized. Knowledge of Fiserv systems or EFT Industry experience strongly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plans, designs, and authors strategic communications to Fiserv clients, business partners and staff
• Researches systems and interviews subject matter experts, as required, to compile information and documentation to support the organizations technology-based programs and that will ultimately, enhance the client experience.
• Studies and reviews communications, as required, to ensure they are effectively meeting our clients needs and supporting our business objectives
• Revises communications to reflect current program changes
• Reviews program and client documentation to define new systems and applications under development
• Reviews technical training documentation as needed

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or Journalism or equivalent experience in lieu of degree required.
• 1-3 years direct corporate communications, technical writing, or professional writing experience in a corporate environment
• Previous experience in banking operations or electronic funds transfer (EFT) industry strongly preferred
• Sufficient business acumen to support an understanding of the organization and our business with the technical skills required to complete assignments
• Excellent written/verbal communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment plus understand the needs of the team and individuals to work towards joint resolutions
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to comprehend and assimilate details quickly and accurately
• Demonstrated ability to build effective business relationships at various levels of the organization
• Proficient PC skills (MS Office – Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to work extended hours/on call as needed
• Ability to travel (10%) as needed
