SPECIFIC ROLE EXPECTATIONS: The incumbent is responsible for the overall oversight, coordination and communication for Department of Health Services Electronic Health Record (EHR) ecosystem and interface development projects. Responsibilities include requirements management, planning design, testing, implementation and interface stabilization, as well as managing changes to project activities and ensuring communication with impacted stakeholders for assigned EHR interfaces between DHS facilities and third-party software/service providers. The incumbent for this position will be responsible to train current BITS staff to design, develop, test, implement and support all EHR-required interfaces, then mentor and support development staff in daily tasks and troubleshooting related to EHR interface development and support. The incumbent will work a variable non-standard schedule that aligns with the needs implementation and upgrade work The position may be require travel to Department of Health Services Facilities and facility service provider sites (approx. 10-20%).
