EmpowerLA also seeks a contractor/vendor to further develop existing Quickbase applications to connect with the City of Los Angeles Cornerstone training portal and website. Goal: To enhance the EmpowerLA website (https://empowerla.org/) so it supports the 99 Neighborhood Councils and the general public. Continue building from an existing but incomplete alpha website with significant progress, the end goal is to finalize development, test, and launch a website rich with information, intuitively designed, optimized for mobile across multiple languages, and primed for search and social media platforms. Timeline: ? First 1-3 months: Assess and review prior vendors development of alpha website to date ? Next 4 months: Finalize Quickbase applications developed for the Department that will connect with training portal and website, including Mission Control 3.0 ? Next 5 months: Implement, test, and launch a completed website based on EmpowerLAs specifications. ? Remainder of contract: Offer support for the updated website and associated Quickbase applications. ? This timeline is flexible and is subject to alterations based on project execution. 3 Training Portal and Website Upgrades for EmpowerLA CITY OF LOS ANGELES RFP No. 216819 Design & Features: EmpowerLA has compiled a set of guides, including a style guide and templates, on Figma, a design platform. Contractor/Vendors proposal for the revamped website should be mobile-responsive, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliant, feature a parallax scrolling mechanism for enhanced visual impact, offer a dark mode for improved readability, and integrate select plugins to boost security, usability, and analytics. Furthermore, the site will be developed predominantly locally, with periodic uploads to a test server for review, and once finalized, will transition to EmpowerLAs server on GoDaddy LLC. Additionally, the website must offer administrative functionalities for EmpowerLA staff and seamless integration with Quickbase for specific data fields, all while aligning with the custom theme fashioned by EmpowerLA. Quickbase Integration: Objective: Synchronize data from EmpowerLAs Quickbase CRM Application Mission Control 3.0 into designated web pages. This involves updating specific website fields from Quickbase, and restructuring the data layout sourced from Quickbase to correspond with EmpowerLAs custom theme.
