Department Overview: This team is responsible for application development and support for all applications in the Manufacturing, Presource and Quality and Regulatory departments for the Medical Segment of client. The QAD Cloud ERP system is the newest application investment this team is accountable for implementing and supporting. Accountabilities in this role: Responsible for the Implementation of QAD Cloud for new acquisitions. Assist in Requirements Definition, Integration Design, Testing and Support for QAD Cloud solutions. Lead the design, development and execution of tests to verify the functionality, accuracy and efficiency of developed QAD Cloud solutions. Develop relationships with vendor and users to provide quality results for the project and on-going support responsibilities. Become the Subject Matter Expert for the QAD Cloud solution across all manufacturing implementations. Qualifications: Prior experience implementing solutions in the QAD Cloud ERP system. Extensive Functional Knowledge of the QAD ERP application. Integration with other systems such as SAP and Del Boomi experience is a plus. Flexibility to work in both a Project and Application Support setting. Excellent data analytical, requirement gathering, and communication skills are required Experience in implementing or supporting SaaS applications is preferred Ability to provide technical/functional leadership on design, implementation and support Ability to build and enhance standards, policies, best practices, technical artifacts as required People management skills to effectively build team relationships and deliverables Ability to network with key contacts outside the area of expertise and other departments on technical matters to develop quality solutions that fit the business requirements. Additional Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Minimum 5 years experience working in IT related field What Software Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the companys business objectives. Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces. Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies. Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts. Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems. Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages. Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance. Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
