Job Description Modeler: ERwin, SOA, DBMS, Web Services ETL Microsoft Office

[Note : Skype interview for candidate out of location but they must be willing and able to pass a background/drug check that typically takes 3-4 weeks to complete]

Client need data modeler with Iron Data supporting Lockheed Martin/SSA

Required Skills:

·Experience with database design and modeling in a SOA environment.

·Experience extracting and documenting data requirements from business/functional requirements.

·Solid experience with the following tools

o CA Erwin Data Modeler
o CA Erwin Model Manager

·Experience with the development of reporting mechanisms.

·Design and develop data stage models that promote efficiency, integrity and flexibility.

·Ability to generate logical and/or physical data models from scratch based off business requirements is a must.

·Demonstrated proficiency in Data-Management concepts, practices and procedures, extensive knowledge of DBMS in multi-tiered, Web/Client/Server environments, as well as extensive knowledge of data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design and ETL tools, processes and methodology.

·Specific experience with data warehousing in a DB2 environment is a must. Ability to analyze legacy databases/systems to develop data mapping and design the ETL strategy is a must.

·Have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills

·Must be able to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, and have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

·Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical. Candidate must be able to effectively interact with all levels of customer staff, and be able to flourish in a government contract setting.

·Candidate should be able to adapt to a changing environment.

Desired Skills:

·Experience with DB2 Database Administration is a definite plus

·Experience with DB2 Version 9

·JEE Software Development

Education:

·MS +9; BA/BS +11
